This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the website metronom.rs (hereinafter: the “Platform”). Your privacy is important to us, and data processing is carried out in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 87/2018).

2. What data do we collect?

Depending on whether you use the Platform as a Candidate (a person seeking employment) or an Employer, we collect different categories of data:
  • For Candidates: First and last name, email address, phone number, citizenship, date of birth, gender, resume (CV), education and work experience details, as well as the necessary identification data required for processing work permits and visas (e.g., passport number).
  • For Employers: Company business name, address, Tax ID (PIB), company registration number, as well as the first and last name and contact details of the person responsible for recruitment (HR).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device data, and cookies used for analytics and improving the Platform.

3. Purpose of data collection and processing

We process your data solely for the following purposes:
  • Facilitating employment and matching Candidates with suitable Employers in the Republic of Serbia.
  • Assistance and facilitation in administrative procedures (obtaining work permits, visas, and residence registration).
  • Creating and maintaining a user account on the Platform.
  • Communicating with users regarding job applications, interviews, and technical support.
  • Improving the functionality and security of the metronom.rs website.

4. Data sharing and third-party access

Metronom DOO will not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with or made available to the following parties solely for the purpose of fulfilling the Platform’s purpose and for regular business operations:
  • Employers: Candidate data (CV, contact details) is shared with registered employers to whom the Candidate has applied for a job or who are seeking workers with a suitable profile.
  • Government authorities: For the purpose of obtaining work permits and visas, data may be forwarded to the competent institutions of the Republic of Serbia (Ministry of the Interior, National Employment Service).
  • Service providers: External IT partners (hosting providers) and marketing agencies that assist us with technical maintenance, development, and promotion of the Platform. These service providers may have technical access to certain data while performing their work, but they are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and may not use the data for their own purposes or share it further.

5. Data retention and security

We take all reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. We retain data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, i.e., as long as your user account is active, or until the expiry of statutory retention periods for certain documentation.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the Law, you have the right at any time to:
  • Request access to your personal data that we process.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data (the “right to be forgotten”), unless we are legally required to retain it.
  • Restrict or object to the processing of data.
  • Request data portability in a structured, machine-readable format.
